Well it's not me

Do you ever hear a song and it reminds you of a certain someone? It could be a friend, a current flame, an ex. It doesn't really matter who. Are there certain songs you hear and it takes you to a different place? Maybe it reminds you of a particular event. Perhaps it reminds you just of that person. It can be a good thought, bad thought, sad thought....

This never ever happens to me. Just wondering if anyone else thought about shit like this.....

Sorry, nothing juicy or demeaning tonight. I could talk about crushes but I am still collecting my thoughts on that one.

Chasing

I was sitting around today "reminiscing" about the good 'ol days. The days when I was a pathetic single person who chased after guys. I would sit there staring at the phone waiting for it to ring or I would obsessively open and close the phone to see if I had a text. PATHETIC. Yeah, I know. Does any of the following sound like something you've ever done?

Person A and Person B are flirty with each other. I guess you can say they like each other. Person A flirts just enough for B to take the bait. Then B is hooked. B is now chasing after A. B calls, emails, texts, etc. B goes out of his/her way to talk to A. If anyone makes the first "move", it's B. A will take his/her time to respond...on occasion. But for like every 3 calls/texts/emails that B sends, A will only send 1. Just when B is like "piss on this" and wants to walk away, A will do something to suck B back in.

Does this sound familiar? Have you ever chased after someone? Yea, the above is chasing after someone. When you are the one reaching out trying to get attention and this person barely gives you a third of what you do, then yeah, it's chasing.

AND IT'S PATHETIC. LET IT GO. If you have to chase someone, let them go. If you want attention and you're not getting it, let them go. If you are a little diva and you want more attention then they are giving you, let them go and find someone to give you what you want. YOU ARE BETTER THAN CHASING. SCREW HIM/HER. WALK AWAY. Maybe they'll chase after you....
